Top UK Comics : Shazia Mirza & Jo Caulfield
Laughing Cows Berlin was launched in 2009. Following on from the success of previous shows, Laughing Cows is back in 2012 with two top UK comics Shazia Mirza and Jo Caulfield performing alongside resident MC, Maureen Younger.
Best-known for her legendary one-woman shows, Jo Caulfield is “one of the finest female comics at work” (The Observer) and has recently been nominated as “the best female Stand-Up in the UK” (Chortle.co.uk). “She is, quite simply, a damn funny woman” (The Scotsman). Shazia Mirza is a multi-award winning British Muslim comedian. Shazia works all over the world and has appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing and Have I got News for You (BBC).
Maureen Younger is the resident MC for Laughing Cows in London, Birmingham and Berlin and is a contributor on BBC Radio. Maureen was a warm up act for the eye-opening show Puppetry of the Penis. In 2010 Maureen compered a major charity night in the West End of London which featured some of the UK’s top female comics including Jo Brand, Jenny Éclair, Hattie Hayridge and Lucy Porter.

Laughing Cows is taking place on Tuesday 31st January with headline act, Shazia Mirza and Tuesday 29th May with headliner, Jo Caulfield, at Comedy Club Kookaburra, Schönhauser Allee 184, 10119 Berlin.
